Now that the environmentalists have lost, we should start building more dams again. (Which was mostly stopped by environmental lobbying. Something about endangered fish.)

Not only are dams an incredible source of power, they would give us greater water control and retention -- to use in the fight against extreme droughts or extreme floods.

Use that Paris money we just saved, and invest in converting existing dams into hydroelectric plants, as well as setting up new dams and reservoirs.
