SSD are leaps and bounds over HD for speed, look at the input/outpu operations per second, there is no comparison. If you dont notice a huge difference in performance then something is wrong with your settings or software.

Im running 2 SSDs in RAID 0 and everything occurs instantaneously. Win 7 ultimate boots in 40 seconds and shuts down in 30.

Using your own drives your ssd has more than twice the read speed of your platter drive

i have just a 120gb little guy ssd for winders8 gonna scoop a 240giggerbit sometime to use for os then use little guy for fav games
