The game is shipping without a RMAH for hardcore. There has been some discussions about adding it at a later date. People will just use 3rd party sites to complete their hardcore transactions. Eventually Blizzard will implement this because they're missing out on their $$$ cut of it.

Err.. i'm quite sure that the RMAH for hardcore mode has been confirmed a couple of days (weeks?) ago.
 
I have been in every beta since diablo 2 downloading it over a 56 k was a lot of fun. But alas no love for Diablo3 :( is there more beta "wave" planed?
 
yeah, it's a little like turning off cleartype but when you spend more time looking at the environment being able to take away the Vaseline filter is a major plus.
