singapore is not a homogeneous white society.

singapore enjoys some of the lowest crime rates in the world despite being a nation of mixed cultures, backgrounds, religions, races, etc.

a number of US states also have laws against sodomy. it wasn't until 2003 that the supreme court deemed those laws weren't enforceable. singapore's anti gay laws really don't have much of an impact on violent crime there tbh.
