It's barely getting a mention in our media. We have a lot of our own shit going on right now.
 
how "bad" is it? My brother in law is supposed to go to Brazil in 2 or 3 weeks...... cancel?
 
That and reminding people that you should protest and get good and pissed off when the government fucks you over is about the complete opposite of what our corporatized media is trying to sell us.

They are trying to promote sedatives.

more like widening income gaps, corruption, and big public transportation price hikes are winning.

Also a huge amount of waste happening with the public money to build the stadiums for the WC/Olympics

ppl are emo that the government is flushing billions down the toilet while a large part of the country remains a literal shithole

the protests are coinciding with confederations cup, and it may heat up again whenever the pope makes a visit (within the month or something)
