[Sculpture] I started out a life size head...

should get a piece of her hair and do some voodoo with it and the clay, so when your finished you can treat the sculp as her.

BTW sorry for the first page moodiness. Flame away as you please.

I've been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I've kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door

Hello, is it me you're looking for?
I can see it in your eyes, I can see it in your smile
You're all I've ever wanted and my arms are open wide
'Cause you know just what to say and you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much, I love you

I long to see the sunlight in your hair
And tell you time and time again, how much I care
Sometimes I feel my heart will overflow

Hello, I've just got to let you know
'Cause I wonder where you are and I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart for I haven't got a clue
But let me start by saying, I love you

She's not going to have sex with you.

I would have done something cool like a knight's helmet, a tank, or maybe a unicorn.

I guarantee you a knights helmet doesnt help you get laid.

actually going up to a woman and talking to her does...

That looks more like a medieval umpire's helmet than a knight's helmet.

No wonder it couldn't get you laid.

well the bar grill is open for vision.

I am making a closed face exchange for it... but its not finished yet.

open faced helmets were used in nonlethal period tournaments.

and yes I made it so thanks for the compliment kurayami. just so you know 12 gauge stainless steel is pretty damn hard to work. the mild helms they used in period are way to soft and thin to hold up in the type of combat that helm faces weekly.

do you make your girlies wear propeller pasties?

do you often refer to penetration as putting the plane in the hanger?

I bet the girlies really go for that.

What girlies? :p:

Oh. MinasTirithGuard. Where are the pics of your hot friend?

edit: oh, I see, never mind. What a cunt. I hope you pimpslapped the shit out of her.

What kind of basic tools did you use on the helmet? That's really cool, I've always wanted to try some armor but never could figure out where to start. Are you doing a breastplate as well?

hi minas

I have been making armour for ten years.

getting started is easy. you need a sheet of steel its best to buy 18ga or 16ga steel sheet from a metal dealer but you can use a filing cabinet ot anyother source of thin flat metal.

you need a way to cut it: tin snips or a jig saw and some rivets.

a hammer to shape it: a ballpeen hammer will work for better results round off the peen part of the hammer. pound a shallow cup/depression in a log stump or 4by4 sunk in the the ground, put the flat piece of metal on the cup and start pounding away. dents will form and the metal will start curve. keep beating it until its smooth.

my first piece of armourwas an elbow:

next goto the pattern archive after you have tried it out and download a pattern. cut to shape and then shape the metal in an armour shape and you are on your way.

if your near seattle I would be happy to help you out.

go here for all the information you will ever need: http://www.armourarchive.org/essays/

I work exclusively in titanium using large industrial machines. http://tiarmour.com/PIC OF SHOP4.jpg

current breastplate:

working metal is a pain in the ass but the results are way worth it.

sorry I cant seem to find one online with the new helmet.

Dude. Ti armor? That's fucking leet (I mean, uh, lol LARP nerd faggot lol). It must be expensive as hell, though :ugh:

Sucks that your model dropped out on you, what happened, get freaked out that you were staring at her all the time ;) BTW, who was your old model, your new model looks kinda like Leslie Schmell but you didn't get far enough on the last one for me to tell :)

MinasTirithGuard has some natural talent I demand being mentioned if you ever get a oscar for prop work

Beautiful armor mrkshammerhand, thanks alot for posting it. The new breastplate looks amazing.

I've been doing a bit more work on the head. I'm not sure how to light these photos correctly, the clay is very reflective.

Minas, fuck whatever haters say about you here. You've got some real talent, and if you enjoy it, you should never stop using it.
