I don't think the fraction is that large, but it's a lot larger than I ever thought.
i really believed TW was just the last stronghold of racist and bigoted asshats. The last 4 years have shown me it's like 1/4 of America, maybe more.

I don't think most Trump voters are Nazis, I do think right-wing populism is on that trajectory. Someone like Tucker Carlson is aware Fusionism is collapsing and will basically take a Bernie Sanders platform and sprinkle some more Nationalism on it and it'll be a lot like Spengler's Prussian socialism. Trump won Florida even as they voted for a $15 minimum wage; the old models of politics just don't make sense anymore.

The old models of politics make much more sense than what we have today or will have in the future. They just don't make sense to non-whites.
