Lawn Mowers

If it's small/flat just buy a battery powered one so you don't have to deal with keeping fuel/oil changes/air filters/etc.

:weird:

Might as well work out while u cut.

how small is small for the yard?

i've contemplated getting a human powered blade cutting mower thing

Brigs and Stratton engine = should be OK

Troy Bilt roto-tillers are great.

Other Troy-Bilt stuff seems questionable - like they decided to expand and just sourced a bunch of stuff

The cheapo B&S engine mowers always sputter and lose power for me after 1 season. If you are experienced with motors (and you don't mind the extra effort to maintain it), then go for it.

I prefer to go with a Honda engine.

B&S used to be good back in the day, now they call them Briggs & Scrap Em

Growing up, we had one with a Tecumseh engine, I think it lasted over 20 years. Don't know if they still make those anymore either.

This just inspired me to check the local classifieds. There is a really nice (old) semi commercial Rover mower with a 4hp Tecumseh on it that looks like it was carved from a block of iron. Whole thing looks legit af and will probably go another 30 years

I'm thinking of getting it to replace my ageing B&S Quattro 4
