Austin PPL: Restaurant reccomendations

Hey, just moved here to Austin, looking to get some ideas on restaurants to go to. Any type of food is good. Thanks!
 
McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell, Burger King and of course, Dairy Queen.

We got it all man!
 
What kind of food do you like?

I like Kerby Lane for breakfasty food (4 in town)
For BBQ, Rudys or Poke Jos
Thundercloud and Delaware make great subs
Maudies (out on 360) is awsome mexican and very reasonably priced
EZs is a regional chain - I like the one on Lamar
Chueys is really good mexican and there are many in town.

It would really help if you said "whats the best X in Y part of town" otherwise, there are too many great places to list.

All those are good except Chuys, and the Kerbey Lane up North. Chuys is so overrrated :|
 
I do not live there anymore, but the Korea House had some great food and fresh sushi.

Korea house IS pretty good lol.

Manuels in the Arbor shopping center is good mexican, as is Iron Cactus, next to North by Northwest.

Jim Bobs (great breakfast tacos)
I heard burts burnt down

ummm thats what Im thinking of off the top of my head, haven't lived there for a few years though
 
there's this one place at the end of 6th street, like a block away from the freeway...its called the crabpot or something like that...it's really good seafoot, potatoes, sausages etc....
