I'm actually amazed that we're seeing this much support for Sanders across the country. Eight years ago people would have laughed at his candidacy, but now he's an actual contender. People don't seem to know or care about the violent history of socialism. Somehow, it's always different this time.

I like Bernie's none existent foreign policy. The USA has plenty of resources and markets to support a self sustaining continental economy. Why do we have to be bothered with the global market anyways? We have the best ideas and then export them to China to be copied.

Every other modern country on Earth has universal healthcare. It's ridiculous to think that the USA system is the 'best'. How about we look at the healthcare systems globally, select the best portions of each system, and build the best system in the world?

Have you seen the effective tax rates required in those countries to support those programs? How about the state of their healthcare systems? Even the people in those countries will tell you it's not anywhere close to roses and rainbows, which is what we like to believe. The demographics of our country are also completely different.
Either way, ACA has been unable to stop rising healthcare costs and large insurance companies are going to pull out of it due to huge losses. This means we'll eventually be headed to a single payer healthcare system anyways, which was probably the original purpose of ACA.
If Sanders was elected, his policy agenda wouldn't stop at "free" tuition and healthcare. That would only be the start.

The reason you would start a campaign with lofty rhetoric and goals is so you can have a high position to begin compromising from when you get into office.

Every other modern country doesnt have a disproportionate amount trying to leech off the system or the amount of people flowing in illegally unabated..Now in other countries though with the push of this "PC" bullshit people are starting to feel the strain of just opening up your borders to shitbags who have no intention to assimilate to their culture. They just want to bring theirs with them and expect others through political correctness to adapt to them instead of the other way around.
I don't care how the US was founded at this point. I wasn't there at that time and neither were you. This is here and now and you can not compare other small countries to the US.
