Amid a record-breaking heatwave, air quality in the San Francisco Bay Area was the worst in the world, as smoke from wildfires blows over the region.

As ABC7 reports, more than 10,800 lightning strikes started 367 new fires according to CAL FIRE division chief Jeremy Rahn.

Yeah it's pretty bad. Fortunately, it's no longer 106 degrees every day.

I looked at the air last night and there were ashes visible falling through the glow of lamps, and making the illumination have the shape of a circle.
 
My eyes aren't swollen up to the size of grapefruits anymore so I guess that's good. I guess everything around here already burned.
