To reproduce:

1. Open IE7 in Vista Beta 2. (Can't confirm that it's soley an IE7 Bug).

2. Open HP's website. http://www.hp.com/

3. In the Supplies and Accessories section in the middle of the page, click the Accessories & Parts for computers, printers and more or click the direct link http://www.hp.com/country/us/en/prodserv/printer-computer-accessories.html

4. On the right side of the page click the HP Parts Store link.

5. While it's attempting to connect to that page (On mine it never loads), go to Tools, Options and on the Security tab uncheck "Protected Mode". Click Ok.

6. Watch bug unfold and have fun!!!!!!!!!!

(I'm wondering if it's everyone, or just me or Vista or IE7 or what.)

How to make a shit set of instructions:

1. Identify that your numbered list is in fact a set of instructions.

2. Carefully describe each step.

3.

It just makes new tabs over and over and over and over and over and over...

OMG!

Someone actually tried it..

I honestly just stumbled across it trying to do a parts lookup on HP. When it didn't open, I tried turning off "Protected Mode" to see if it would remedy this situation. It reminded me of some of the joke sites that spawn new windows over and over from back in the day. Like http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/youare.php that would move around your screen and when you closed it, it'd make like 3 more windows and keep multiplying.

This does essentially the same thing, if you don't close the main window, it just keeps opening tabs and new windows..
