my parents just bought a new house and my dad wants me to help him buy a tv for the place. hes got $2500 and wants something >60 inches thatll last him for a long time. 3d isnt important. curved is probably a no as well, this will be mounted on a wall.

what would you guys get?

For me, spending $2,500+ on a non-OLED tv right now is as dumb as spending $4,000+ on an actual OLED.

I'd spend around $1,000 for something decent to last the next 3-5 years and wait for the price drops.

Yeah plasma is gone and 4k is boring market sucks now

Just get a cheaper mid level vizio to hold off they are great for money

Sony is best option tbh but costly

Like I said before vizio even Costco model kill it for like 1k

I'd do that hold off for oled
