I'm with you on that one. One of the funniest characters in entertainment. I was gutted when I heard the news that he was dead.
Man, i recently watched WKRP, and now I decided to watch MASH from start to finish, and i can't believe the stuff they said in both these shows, they would never get away with it today. WKRP had a black dood DJ named Venus Flytrap and this white guy Les Nesman was always calling him a negro. And yesterday i started the first few episodes of MASH, and they have a black guy surgeon that Alan Alda was calling "spear chucker" the whole time. no shit, the guys nickname is "spear chucker" lol. yep, never would get away with that today at all.
This is the new America. Obviously healthier.
Everyone is tuning out. I wonder why? Even black people are getting sick of seeing diversity. The more the media pushes diversity, the more the people push back.
No one of any color wants it. Just be natural. Tell stories. If people like it, they will watch it.
If the Roku/Amazon/Netflix ads are anything to go by, the nation is 100% black these days. The shows that crack me up throw in a token cracker or two.

You're correct, but dude you should have seen Carroll O'Connor's Archie Bunker character. 1/10th of the shit they did and said in that show would get them sued back to the Stone Age in 2021. All In The Family made Married With Children look tame. America is a big snow bank of snowflakes now. .

Love Cops. Always have. It's always a head-scratcher. Most actual police are very much like the officers who are on the show. I can see a large difference over the years. Back in the beginning, they would pretty much just let the dogs tear a person up. Or pummel them etc. Tasers were a hoot.
tl;dr People are stupid and the Cops have to deal with it. Most of it is related in some manner to substance abuse.
