[Suggestions?] Tablet for school

Hi,

I am in the market for a tablet for taking to class and using microsoft word/pp/excel and would like to know what is the best tablet for the best price on the market today?

I am liking the Asus Transformer TF700, but am willing to hear other suggestions. What should I be looking for when buying a tablet and what should I want to pay?

I have a nexus 7 that is great for entertainment purposes, but I don't really use it for school apart from sometimes buying digital textbooks because its much cheaper than buying hard copies.

I tend to agree with mjoe honestly, you don't need to buy a tablet just for school.
