So the album has been leaked for awhile now. Anyone heard it? Thoughts?

I'm liking it so far. It may not be the old Slayer, but it's definitely better than most shit.

 
Sounds OK. Slayer hit their peak with Reign in Blood. They can't really make anything that sounds new and interesting using that formula. And at the same time, they can't change the formula because they'd lose most of their fans. So the result is mediocrity.
 
i'd still go see them, but why anyone listens to nu slayer is beyond me.
you've got about 6 - 6.5 awesome albums of old stuff to listen to. the new crap doesn't even come close
 
Yeah, Slayer is definitely not nu metal. Though I agree with you that nothing comes close to their older albums.
 
Love me some slayer, but this album and the last do nothing for me. I did like "God Hates us All" but it seems that was the last bit of awesome they had in the tank.
 
Yeah, I considered that. It doesn't really make sense to put it that way though, so I had gone the other direction with it.
