removing a stripped laptop screw

Wanted to upgrade my bare bones acer from 2 gb of ram to 4 but accidently stripped 2 tiny screw heads by the battery slot in the process.

any inexpensive ideas on how to get them out?

already tried sandpaper but no luck

Flat head and gentle tap.
Very small thread extractor.

Its monkey metal, should be a piece of piss to do

pour liquid nitrogen over it thereby contracting the screw head and screw and gently tug

If all other suggestions don't work out you can always take a drill bit and drill the head of the screw off.
once you remove whatever it's holding, you can probably use pliers to remove the threaded part.

I've never done this on a laptop.... so be careful. I've done this a lot on outdoor access points though.

if you put an icecube on it and let it melt it'll contract the screw and it'll pop back out

if you want to be sure put like 8 ice cubes over it and let it sit over night

Rubber band set it on the screw then the driver in that. Works every time.

alternatively you can take a dump on the keyboard and close up the laptop squishing the shit all over

3: Cut a new slot in the screwhead. (hacksaw/dremal)
4: Tap it round by placing the screwdriver in at an angle and tapping round with a hammer
5: Drill it out and tap a new hole.
6: Try tightening it /slightly/. This helps free up the threads.
5: Then is a simple trick of hyperventillating to flood the bloodstream with oxygen

if all else fails you can try to superglue or epoxy a screwdriver into the heads, being careful not to get it on anything but the screwhead/driver of course
