Thanks Nomad, for whatever reason, we never needed to add a carriage return for RS-232, it’s possible that it was automatically added by the CNC code. The older Version controller was more like G-Code where the newer one is more like C#. So I think a lot of the dirty work was done by the older OS in the background, where the new one requires a lot more code.
