need help from home networking gurus

So I'm working on a friend's home network, and they have 2 wired computers and 2 wireless laptops. I'm trying to help them set up printer sharing, but I'm running into a problem that seems to go deeper than just this.

If I run the "net view" command from the laptop in question, it returns "system error 53" and fails. I googled it, followed instructions for enabling netBIOS, checked firewalls, etc, nothing. ideas?

Some home wireless routers have a security feature that keeps wireless clients separate from the wired. First check the IP addresses. Sonicwalls actually give 2 different subnets between wired and wireless
Wired 192.168 etc
wireless 172.168...

There also may be something else on the config that blocks the 2 also
