It has a smoother and nicer looking interface
I installed it yesterday and played with it for a couple of hours, plus a couple of hours today
I have tried all the programs supplied and have yet to run into any problems
 
I've been playing with beta2 for a while and so far i'm pretty happy with it. the only change i don't like is that they got rid of the classic top menu "file, view, etc etc"

A lot nicer looking and way easier to navigate and use
 
I think 97 and 2000 are pretty crappy versions compared to what 2k3 offers.

I could see using 2k3 for the next 2 to 3 years, I really like it for usability and reliability. Security is pretty good as well.

Only reason you MIGHT wanna get 2007 is for the Save to PDF feature.
