I think most of us understand exactly what we're doing with our money when we contribute to a Kickstarter. In the past, many of us would have killed to have access to a "closed" pre-alpha version of a video game that we were heavily anticipating. IMO, it's pretty cool that it's possible to get extremely early access for an affordable price. If that isn't worth $175 to you, then don't pay it
