Im unsure on total EVE recruitment numbers because FREEE recently merged with 2aw--our buds from llamma--but 27 pilots have joined FREEE since Oct. 8th.

Tribalwar channel now routinely has over 10 pilots idling, with what seems like 20+ during peak. Numbers not reached since the initial drive over 2 years ago.

The new players are adapting quickly and getting into useful tacklers, rifters namely. FREEE has been heavily involved with ATF, our new alliance, in and around Fade region.

The fighting has been generally low key, but we hope to get everyone out on a nice frig op, potentially suicide (is there anything else?). Until then, we'd like to get new pilots setup with a 'jump clone' in or around 00/LC and empire.

Lets give a big hand to all the new recruits

JUMPCLONES

...are a nifty fucking feature. Using teh infomorph skill, players can setup jumpclones in friendly stations. 'Friendly' means you AND your corporation has a standing of 8 or higher with that corp. This is near impossible to attain for medium sized corps..unless the station is player owned and operated.

You can jump once every 24hours between teh two clones. IMPORTANT do NOT ever, for any reason, jump out of your clone WHEN you have a clone in the station that you're doing the jumping. You will lose ALL your implants adn get no reimbursement.

Station A: Jump Clone installed_-_-_-_-You're located at presently

Station B: Jump Clone installed_-_-_-_-You want to be located

The jump clone at station A will have all its implants lost. Im unsure on other adverse effects, but who knows...just dont do it.

The requirements for infomorph technology (the skill to use jump clones) is not too bad. Im thinking you need science at some level, either 3 or 4, but Im almost certain it requires no lvl5's, so its well within the reach of any new guy.

You'll have to wait until we get docking rights to a player owned station in fade that also has medical (cloning) facilities before you can install one, namely c4c. This should be soon.

The really neat thing is, while the 8 standing requirement prevents most corpmates form 'installing' a jumpclone in a station, you can MOVE a jump clone to an NPC station, then jump out of it to another. It'll stay there and be ready to jump back into after 24hours.

It'll require you to be at the station to set up the clone, THEN, either travel down to empire the long way, OR, just pod jump (suicide) and make sure you have a clone (the insurance kind of clone) setup at ibura.

Trust me, these things make travel easy, esp. for guys who will need to run missions in empire and be pvp'ing in 00.

PS - As an aside, your ISK/Skill goal should be eventually moving to 00 entirely, and rely on ratting with a BS out here. Its VERY profitable, and fun/involved in the market.

Just to add on, the station in EC-P8R allows anyone to dock and setup a jump clone there, so if you can leeroy through the gatecamp, it's the closest thing you're going to get to creating a jump clone in empire without ridiculous standings.

You're shitting me, really? Who owns it?

EDIT: Does it still have the 250k ISK docking fee?

Does Infomorph still cost 1mil ISK everywhere? That's about all the money my guy has until I get to running more missions.

I think they may have changed the requirements a bit when it comes to installing jump clones. I say this because I was recently able to install one in empire space without any problems. Although I suspect it let me because it's a low sec system (although still "safe") but I'm not sure on that.

Without giving too many specifics, here's some numbers:
System security: 0.5
Corp standings to Empire: 0.57
Corp standings to NPC Corp: 2.25
My standings to Empire: 4.82
My standings to NPC Corp: 8.67

So I don't know what the key factor is although my personal standings put me over the magical 8 standings bit so it's possible they dropped the corp standings part since realistically that's going to be near impossible to get for the majority of corps out there. No idea if alliance standings had anything to do with it though.

Now we need to recruit a bunch of euro players. Tri wasn't too happy when YouWhat made a break out of L-C today.

We can watch their shit when they're off, they watch our shit. If anything, bringing in a Euro corp would go a long way in getting some off-prime ops going.

In other news, im excited to see the numbers this weekend for ATF/FREEE.

They dropped the "8+ corp and personal standings" to NPC corp bullshit some time ago. Now it's either/or. If your corp managed to get 8+ and you don't have 8+, you can put a jumpclone down. Or (the more likely story), you have 8+ with a NPC corp and your corp doesn't, you can put a jumpclone down.

Example:
I have 8+ standings with True Creations (Sansha's Nation, lives in Stain), Gallente Federation Customs, and Gallente Federation Navy. This means I can install jumpclones in stations with cloning at any of those NPC stations.

Btw, the quickest way to ramp standings up is to run missions for multiple agents simultaneously. I used courier missions for True Creations (and for the time investment at L4 if you've got a quiet section of space to work with, it's quicker than combat and makes you a bit more isk).
