IN Demand offers to match DirecTV's MLB offer

Win! Basically what baseball really wanted is for their baseball channel to be carried. Cable said ok...but we want part ownership of the channel. DirecTV had 20%...now they'll have 16% and cable will have 16% as well.

I tried calling Comcast tonight but no dice...the reps don't know what to do yet and are waiting on word from the higher ups. Going to try back tomorrow, hope I can get it in time for Dice K's start.

Now I can only hope Verizon FIOS works out a deal with IN DEMAND.

it also looks like another thing that baseball gave them was the ability to pimp it out to other cable networks, so that it's not exclusive to the big 3 of cable....
