Never been, wanted to for a while. Was discussing with a mate last night who has been once and said you don't need more than 3-4 days to do all the good stuff. What you think Haggis. We were planning a week. Probably July.

depends..you can definitely see cool stuff in 3-4 days if you just say in the south of Iceland. But the north of iceland was by far my favorite - it was way less crowded than the south and still cool stuff to see. I guess if you haven't been before, 3-4 days to a week is a good bet. Then if you decide it was awesome, you can come back and explore the more remote places like the West Fjords.
OK thanks fella. We'll either end up doing a week or splitting it with Helsinki. Y'know, just to see the weightless snow and so on.
