How has the Affordable Health Care Act affected you?

I live in MA and have free health insurance with $1 co-pays.

When I was making good money I paid $77 premiums.

being the largest wealth and power transfer to the government in US history it has increased uncertainty, and concern.

We know skyrocketing cost didn't occur in Mass. or in any industrialized nations that's adopted it previously.

One of you care to tackle why it would occur here given there isn't a single real world example you can cite that I'm aware of?

Where's that big "The Sky Is Falling" gif when you need it.

I don't want to buy health care. I save my money and try and stay healthy.

My health is on me and that is my choice. I think it is wrong to be pressured into buying something I do not want, something where I will be subsidising those who eat McDonalds while sitting on blistered butts.

The whole thing is a scam of epic proportions attempting to create a mandatory customer base for the insurance companies. Sure they cry foul but any increases in their costs are simply passed down the chain to the consumer.

There is no such thing as a free lunch no matter how self deceiving philosophical rhetoric can be.

I grew up under Medicare in Australia, a system they were ALWAYS trying to fix due to the "if it is free use it" mentality which increases demand and irresponsibility. Subsidised healthcare via tax breaks and subsidies combined with penalties for those who refuse to submit is not really much different to universal healthcare provided by the state.

Sure there have been problems in healthcare in the U.S. but socialism is not the answer. Once you get it you never get rid of it. So many foolish people who have no concept as to how good they actually have it.

Now what you were asked for was it putrid.

spin those eyes again darling.

I didn't think you would bother.

You aren't interested in actually looking at all sides of the problem, you won't even take the time.

An answer to your question is in there if you bothered to look at all that data.

You delivered an answer that failed to respond to the question asked.

I'm interested in real world versus theory. An idea you ought to be able to grasp but maybe your embracing of the stupid here has curtailed such ability of yours.

I cant wait for this generation to realize that they are now mandated to buy insurance and add another bill they cant afford, especially in this shitty economy and over-abundance of labor.

'Pro-choice' of course.

Progressivism: Policies so damn good, you have to mandate it.
