sure seems like it. yeah they bought a lot of IP...but most of that shit is in rough shape.

that being said...good time to be a gamepass subscriber i guess

edit: nope, microsoft confirmed he is staying after the purchase

doubledit: yeah he's definitely out once it completes - microsoft can't say that before its a done deal though.

also, for the avoidance of doubt, "firing" Kotick is a performative move and won't change anything about the company

MS is only doing this for that sweet sweet taxpayer money that Activision steals from the US every year
 
I was talking with a coworker about this the other day. How much do you think just WoW has generated for Blizzard in its lifetime?

It has to be milllions...possibly even low billions
 
probably wont improve blizgame quality... MS/xbox arent exactly known for making stellar games lol. theyre just another publisher
