DAOC Phoenix is about 1 month into launch. Had 4000+ at peak this weekend split very even between all 3 realms. If anyone has an old school itch to scratch it's pretty fun. I'm playing Alb right now. Can switch between realms with either 12 hour log in wait or deleting all other characters. Rule set is old frontiers with no ToA or later zones. No Cata classes. SI is enabled.
My /played to 24 on sorc for first BG thidranki was 10 hours so it is not nearly as grindy as old DAOC. They have random loot set to drop at higher rates to keep leveling flowing.
For 50 rvr there are task zones such as "dominate this area", "attack this keep", etc. You will know where the zerg is going as the RP gain is really high for doing the task zone.
