[Burgers] Bad idea?

My roommate is throwing a bbq on Saturday and went ahead and bought meat/prepared patties last night (ground beef). He put some kind of cheese in several of them. Wrapped them in foil and put them in the refrigerator.

Should they be in the freezer being that they're going to be sitting there for 2 days? I'm a bit of a retard when it comes to preserving meat.
 
you're going to have to bleach the entire refrigerator to eliminate any possible e-coli bacteria infection

How long does that meat sit in the butchers/grocers fridge?? :D
 
You'll be fine. Just man up eat the possible e coli infection. Then start a fight with your friends and black out broski. It'll all be tight.
 
Up to FIVE days in the fridge is fine for fresh meat. Any longer than that, freeze it until the day before you need it, then thaw in the fridge.

Your TWO DAYS is fine.

e. coli is either there or not, it ain't going to magically appear because it sat in the fridge. And when it's cooked, assuming thoroughly, it isn't a problem.
