Paying my bill this morning and I click to see if I was eligible for an upgrade and read this

Discounted iPhone upgrade at a higher price! what the fuck does that even mean? and an upgrade fee? Cell phone carriers are ridiculous, and they've got us all by the balls because we need their services.
 
Obviously it's a typo you faggot. Just call them if your tiny brain can't fathom how this could occur.
 
A typo? Isn't it the complete opposite meaning of what the intended message was supposed to be?

A typo would be something like "discounted ihoPne upgrade at a higher price."
 
It's an early iPhone upgrade. If you are ineligible for a standard upgrade (21 months into your current contract, 24 months if you go to an authorized reseller), they can offer you an iPhone at any time within your current contract, for an extra $200 on top of the standard upgrade price.

So, the iPhone 8GB 3GS is $99
You get it for $299

The iPhone 4G is $199, you get it for $399.
