Anyone use a trackball mouse?

I don't use a trackball but I am utterly obsessed with legacy laser mice. Like legacy dell and microsoft mice. I grew up playing tribes with these things and no other mouse comes close or gives me the same aim.
 
I still use an original 4 button Microsoft intellimouse every day at work

I have this

When i tried Tribes with it i was like this is gonna take years to get used to. Also sucks in sc2.

I know some guys rocked the trackball in tribes, but switching this late is like snorting the ashes of a dead horse.

It is good for general computing, especially with a lack of desk space.
