The Lockhart Police Department says Sarah Fowlkes, 27, is suspected of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old boy at Lockhart High School.

According to Fowlkes’ bio on the high school’s website, she taught anatomy, physiology and environmental systems and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from St. Edward’s University.

Well, when society had better values, you didn't diddle students as a teacher. Obviously a prime reason for that was the fact that authority was viewed totally differently than it is today and secondly but probably not less importantly, soiling the purity of someone's daughter was kind of a big deal. So yeah, patriarchal society protected women not just from lecherous men, but more importantly from themselves. Female hypergamy is a dangerous natural force that has the power to destroy civilizations if left unchecked.

Well, if you think about it. The female brain as well as the male brain wants to get knocked up/knock someone up. It makes sense that the younger, more fertile, 'partner' is chosen.
