One of the greatest movie soundtrack composers died and nobody can replace him.

James Horner's death confirmed by coroner, ruled an accident | EW.com

He composed Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan along with a ton of other truly rememberable soundtracks. Now all we get is that stupid Inception horn for a soundtrack.

My logic is they use music they believe most teenagers will probably never had heard before and hoping kids will think it is catchy or edgy.

It looks almost like a carbon copy of the last star trek movie trailer. shit blowing up, people screaming, hackneyed lines. And of course Enterprise gets blowed up all over again.
