For three years I've been telling TW that the mask does not help the wearer, and you guys just won't have it.

Way too smart for me, so I've stopped saying it. (here, anyway)

The fart thing is actually really interesting and shows the ignorance of most people to how important the size of things is. Fart molecules are insanely small (0.4 nm) vs covid (60 nm at the smallest). So a fart particles is 120 times smaller than a covid particle. This is why you will smell a fart no matter which mask you put on but the type of mask to prevent covid definitely matters. If you ever wore the blue diaper and thought you were making a difference you are an idiot, if you wore a properly fitted N95 you probably yielded yourself some protection. In the real world, nuance matters, but not on TW. :)

yep

and that's what most of us have been saying all along. the cloth masks are dumb and aren't going to stop much of anything. the n95 masks will, but again, at the beginning they were practically nowhere in stores, and you still have to wear it properly.
