WTF is up with my hard drive?

Seems like my 3 year old drive keeps losing space... i delete a few programs and a day later much of the space goes missing again.

Freed up 30 gigs last night... had only dwarf fortress and a few other programs running and when i got back 12 hours later 15 gigs of that has gone missing.

Aside from disk cleanup and the like how can i see where all this space is going? Any ideas what is going on?

it saves everything onto the hard drive, which eats up about 3 gig of space every time.

do a good once over with a new sheet of sandpaper. if you use an old sheet it might have cancer particles lingering on it

Load SpaceMonger or some tree program that shows all your directories. iTunes stores a bunch of back up crap. Virus programs can have log files that grow.

The other thing is turn off system restore, then turn it back on.

It's likely shadow copies and system restore. Are you running out of space or something?

It's likely shadow copies and system restore. Are you running out of space or something?
