anyway.. for the rest of the thread:

both parties are terrible. I don't think anyone can really say that dems are much better for us than repubs or vice versa and REALLY believe it.
both parties are completely full of people who don't care at all about what's best for the country. instead, they're more concerned about what will hurt the other party more. It's basically a civil war fought by people in suits.

the BEST we can do is vote for some third party candidate. Make no mistake: we will be throwing our votes away essentially. one of the two major parties will win the election. HOWEVER: the more people vote for the third parties, the more the major parties have to pay attention to them. eventually they will start adopting the third party policies just so they can steal the votes back.

it's pretty obvious that america is in a huge political rut, and if we don't stop playing the two party game soon this country is done for.
