it just reached peak altitude...the highest a vehicle designed for human spaceflight has been in 40+ years. crazy.

i went to the Elon Musk event in Seattle on the 16th where he announced the SpaceX Seattle office. They'll be working on a global satellite internet system.
It was basically a big party to sell local engineers on how cool SpaceX is, but it was cool to hear him sell his vision.

Obviously all rockets are, but during that entire video all I could think about is how phallic that thing is.
