It's fun, but there are a couple of serious drawbacks. The biggest problem for me is voting. It's incessant. Can't just play; you're constantly at the whim of whatever bong hitters are on at the time. And they invariably want to play the same maps over and over again.
Then there's the O vs. D thing. Most games are lopsided.
So if you just want to fuck around and duel people or run heavies over in a tank or shrike it's fun. But if you actually want to play tribes...maybe 10% of the games will be satisfying.
