The idea of buying christmas gifts for strangers just doing their job is completely absurd.

I work for a company that manufactures chips that are the logic for touch screens in your phones and ipads. You should all start sending me 20$ if you like your phone.

yeah, in regards to the real job thing, delivering pizzas (and the $100 or so i make every night) is a great way to pay rent while going to college.

though i'm pretty surprised i haven't been robbed yet...

That doesn't change that it's not really an extremely difficult, laborious, or imho tip-worthy job. Unlike waitering, there's nothing to even base the tip on. The guy delivers your pizza. Either he does or doesn't.

I do tip pizza delivery guys, but only because I'm a sucker.
 
if you suck at your job, you don't get a tip.

if the cooks fuck you over, then that can be taken into account.
