A load-testing program; the idea is to use it so that it brings your CPU to full load, and then computes results it already knows. If anything is wrong and causes the machine to compute incorrectly, Prime95 will catch it and tell you that the results aren't correct, indicating you have a problem. Google for it.

ok, the piece of shit thermal pad on the stock intel heatsink melted onto the cpu around the edges... is there a safe way to clean the top of a cpu chip?
