My new RC toy

To fly decent, the total thrust (g) of the rotors should be about twice the all-up-weight (AUW). How much does a stuffed ostrich weigh?

Here's what I do 3 times a day during the week at work. Not much space to fly in - about 30' x 150' or I have to go over or under trees. That's bad because I can't fly or even trust it if I can't see it. Rule # 1 of multirotor flight: Always keep your (non-FPV) craft in sight or it will crash.
