you can layer rationalizations and rhetoric on top as much as you want, but it all boils down to that in the end

and that tells you everything you need to know about the people who buy into it

I guess my rationalization is that people are stupid and fearful and that makes them easy to manipulate

in the same way that black people don't come out of the womb as subhuman criminal scum, white kids aren't born racist.

it's nurture, not nature, that makes someone hateful in the vast majority of cases...so kinda not their fault that they are dumb/brainwashed/live in a crime filled shithole country

That's not communism, it's fascism. Those ideals are on opposite political ends, and I've *nearly* given up trying to teach TW about this.

Nazis sent communists into camps right along with Gypsies, Jews, and homosexuals. Fascists have hated communists since both those ideals became nascent.

It's grey, I hope we can concede that much. During the cold war, the Deutsche Demokratische Republik or East Germany, called themselves the DDR, but were they really democratic? Was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic really socialist? Was it really a Republic?

That's why politics is just only a hobby for me. I make my living with observable data, and talking politics just convinces me that I do not have the tools to do anything productive outside zeros and ones. TW is good for me in that way; I can piss in a crosswind like this all I want, and nobody cares.

Its all nonsense. What I do know is that the political organizations who called themselves socialists or communists ended up murdering millions of people for no good reason at all. It seems whenever a state pursued communist ambitions it ended in horrible atrocity. Over and over again.

Of course they were. Mussolini openly promoted fascism from the left, and Hitler promoted it from the right. In current politics, fascism is placed at the far right of the spectrum, but it doesn't have to be. Fascism rejects assertions that violence is inherently negative or pointless, and instead views imperialism, political violence, and war as means to national rejuvenation. Duh.

when it comes to end results, it doesn't matter if you're incapable of being a kind person or you've simply been trained not to be one. you're still hurting people, and you need to be stopped
