Manned SpaceX launch [LIVE]

The support crew quarantined for 2 weeks and was tested before the splashdown. But once the astronauts go home, that could be a problem with everyone wanting to congratulate them.

Hopefully they stay inside and do interviews from a computer.

Yeah, I suppose they didn't just go to the airport and fly Delta cattle class across to the press conference

Skip to 36 minutes. Incredible. It's flying sideways because there's one engine off center. This is a test flight of a new rocket.

I'm so happy that capitalism and oversight allowed for the safe launch of astronauts once again on U.S. soil.

I really hope we get into space, I want the future to see us in space, tackling new engineering and exploration problems.

We're really fortunate to exist at all, it'd be a real shame to not see what else is out there and to die because off because we didn't out live our sun.

Then again you never know when an extra-galactic event might happen where we're blasted into basic life forms again. What a dream that we're even in space at all and not roving tribesmen.

I really hate that we couldn't get a functioning government to get us into space, but at least industrialists might get us out there, polluting on a different planet and off of the our home.

God it would make me moist to find out manufacturing and automation in space is so efficient that those slave laboring bastards polluting in China lose their short lived power grasp.
