So let's say I live in this cool state.

And I don't want a bunch of idiotic California rejects coming to my state and turning it into the California shithole that they just fled from.

Can my state enact a law that allows people to move there or not? Like a moving permit or something?

I never heard of any law against this... I wonder if it's possible...

Don't California my Florida. Although it already is. Every major city in this state is blue (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, WPB), while the entire area to the north is red (Ocala, The Villages). At least we have a Republican governor.

What you're describing is socialism at a state level, and it totally sucks. But it happens because the minorities go where there is free handouts. Once they pilfer one state and destroy it, they move on to new targets.
