I've wondered what water+cereal would taste like, but I never tried it because all I've had at the time was warm tap water and I figured that wouldn't be good. I guess I could put a glass of water in the fridge, then when I run out of milk I can just use that.

I've done this before, I had to get up early, so I get the cereal, milk and juice out and I wasn't really watching what I was doing. It didn't taste that bad, as James said it all ends up in the same place anyway.

Yeah that's what my buddy use to do, but I couldn't imagine doing that. It's milk or nothing. I tried Orange Juice once and lets just say the results were similar to the OP
