I am fed up with Norton A/V.. Suggest a new A/V for me <3

I'll keep it short. I'm fed up with Symantec's Norton Antivirus software and want to get something else - something that's effective but won't hog my resources. I'd prefer to be able to buy and download it and get it running fairly quickly. I have two computers whose software I'd like to replace.

So, any help? <3
 
Zone labs, Avast, Panda,

Norton and Mcaffe the two biggest names miss some 40-60% of virii.
There was a digg article about it (looks for link).

Yeah mine did too. I bought another year's subscription online but when I enter the code (even copy/paste it) it says it's not valid :lol:. I called them and after 30 minutes of them having me jump through hoops instead of just giving me a VALID key, I told them "you know what, if you guys don't want my business, that's fine; next time don't waste my time though" and hung up.

I've had a number of problems with these guys in the past, but this was the last straw.


BTW thanks guys I'll look in to AVG. :D
