Help: Computer rebooting on it's own.

well, if it's windows rebooting your system, at least you'll see an error message and we can start troubleshooting.

this'll tell you whether or not it's your hardware causing a spontaneous reboot or if it's software crapping out.

The last time my computer started rebooting itself, it was my NIC not liking recent versions of WinMX. Who knew?

Funny you should say that. I recently installed the newsest version of WinMX and then this started happening, but not until a few days after I installed it.

Here's my error:
Stop: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x815EA009, 0x00000001, 0x00000000)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Beginning dump of physical memory.
Dumping of physical memory complete.

It's my cockroach I've trained to sneak into computers and short circuit the reset switch in case he gets lost. Glad you found him. Give him something to eat and he will stop resetting your puter :D
