at home: my pc xp, roomate pc is vista, we are both on the same workgroup, i can see his pc over the network but he can't see mine.. i've not dealt with vista at all, im puzzled by it. what needs to be done so he can see my pc.?

just dl'd the SeVDynamix.rar tribes zipped thing, installed it at work, and i get "could not contact any master server(s) please verify your internet connection" i dont have admin rights on this pc, and i am (to my knowledge) unable to fwd ports or anything like that via a router setup page...
