That's further right than the right. I mean, that's like way fucking to the right.
I wrestle with with the idea of supporting the death penalty
Is there a case, even a hypothetical one, where you don't think the death penalty is appropriate?
I do not mean this pejoratively, but you seem like a guy that would recommend the death penalty for an overdue library book.
I'm down with the death penalty - not how it is enacted currently, but a harsher, faster deterrent for scum people who get caught red handed breaking the law
I would support sterilization of scum people, or at least placing a lot more barriers/requirements in front of people before they are granted a license to breed
not sure if this is left or right, but I want to see the media muzzled somehow and forced to report news instead of sensationalist garbage solely to maximize profits
Oh, I don't believe trans people or other dumb shit 'conditions' should be supported/paid for by public money
I'm sure I'm too much of a bleeding heart to fit in with the tw right wing dudes, and I'm fine with that because with a few exceptions you're all Mongolia lvl intelligence imo. But I don't fit in with real liberals, they think I'm an evil bastard
Sure sounds like there's a shadow government involved here....
The Political Assassination of Michael Flynn
For reference: most studies that have looked into the thing say that the death penalty isn't actually a deterrent.
That's neither left nor right in itself, just totalitarian. You're basically advocating state control of the media.
Not fitting in with the right-wing here is fine, there's probably a few folks that were members of the Hitler Youth that'd look at some of that shit and say "Dude, not cool!" (or.. that in German), and turning the death penalty into some sort of torture porn is probably not the most liberal ideology around, so gasp and shock: you're probably somewhere right of "the center".. wherever the hell that is this week.
Of course you dont.
I think of you as a loser asshole who thinks he is somehow better than others with the cred to back it up. Your cockholster writes checks your ass cant cash.
You have developed into a runner and that's it. Good for you. Now when are you going to work on being a better human being?
Anyway, it's not about the death penalty itself, it's about who is actually in charge of it and how it's legally applied ie, what was the crime? I'm disappointed you didn't grasp that.
In normal times, the idea that U.S. officials entrusted with our most sensitive secrets would selectively disclose them to undermine the White House would alarm those worried about creeping authoritarianism. Imagine if intercepts of a call between Obama's incoming national security adviser and Iran's foreign minister leaked to the press before the nuclear negotiations began? The howls of indignation would be deafening.
In the end, it was Trump's decision to cut Flynn loose. In doing this he caved in to his political and bureaucratic opposition. Nunes told me Monday night that this will not end well. "First it's Flynn, next it will be Kellyanne Conway, then it will be Steve Bannon, then it will be Reince Priebus," he said. Put another way, Flynn is only the appetizer. Trump is the entree.
I think your allusion to totalitarian 'control' is not what I'm talking about at all. I don't want the media to be the govt mouthpiece I'm referring to irresponsible/manipulative media coverage causing damage to society so they can make $$$. Fine them, shut them down, whatever. Do something, it's getting worse all the time...
even from way over here in NZ it seems obvious to me that sensationalist reporting played a huge part in causing all the BLM unrest, rioting and damage...the media played the blix, got them all ragey, and sat back to enjoy all the sweet sweet coverage and cash. Seems like there should be some oversight of that kind of thing to me
Also: once again -SS- displaying he has absolutely no concept of the political spectrum.
well that wasn't very nice
So, I'm a bit confused on the whole KellyAnne Conway 'ethics' issue. Didn't Michele Obama promote Subway? How is this different than promoting a clothing brand?
