Apparently not.
I can't remember the last time i saw Christian soldiers marching off to war with the cross leading the way on the battle standard.

Do you really think the kind of people that go to megachurches wouldn't do that, if they had the means and opportunity?I can't remember the last time i saw Christian soldiers marching off to war with the cross leading the way on the battle standard.

Honestly, I don't really care that much but shouldn't it be enough there ARE mosques in nyc? Why do they have to put there of all places? Just put it somewhere else for fucks sake.
They did. It's two blocks away. You can't even see it from ground zero.Honestly, I don't really care that much but shouldn't it be enough there ARE mosques in nyc? Why do they have to put there of all places? Just put it somewhere else for fucks sake.

Wrong.I think that groups that would do that kind of thing in this country are damn sure not limited to just christian groups. When was the last time you saw an organized army of god on the march? Not the crazies that do their random acts and say its in gods name, but an actual standing armed/trained military force? that was a christian army? I'm pretty sure the last time such a military force existed sword and shield were the weapon of choice.
The Taiping Rebellion was a widespread civil war in southern China from 1850 to 1864, led by heterodox Christian convert Hong Xiuquan, against the ruling Qing Dynasty. About 20 million people died, mainly civilians, in one of the deadliest military conflicts in history.
Hong established the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (Chinese: 太平天囯[1] pinyin: Tàipíng Tiān Guó), officially the "Heavenly Kingdom of Great Peace", with its capital at Nanjing. The Kingdom's Army controlled large parts of southern China, at its height containing about 30 million people. The rebels attempted social reforms and the replacement of Confucianism, Buddhism and Chinese folk religion by a form of Christianity.
The Lord's Resistance Army (also Lord's Resistance Movement or Lakwena Part Two) is a sectarian religious and military group based in northern Uganda.
The group was formed in 1987 and is engaged in an armed rebellion against the Ugandan government in what is now one of Africa's longest-running conflicts. It is led by Joseph Kony, who proclaims himself the "spokesperson" of God and a spirit medium, primarily of the Holy Spirit, which the Acholi believe can represent itself in many manifestations.[3]
The bible clearly says you shouldn't suffer a witch to live. I've talked with American Christians that agree.
