Johnny Rotten said he wanted to meet Ozzy since they're both English working class and wound up living near each other in CA. Ozzy never responded to the invite.

I'd like to think Ozzy just forgot about it or misunderstood. I bet they would have been buddies had they hung out together before Ozzy's move.

Part of the move has to do with age I bet. Many people seem to get the urge to move to somewhere they remember from their childhood when they are old.
